Day 1 of the World Junior Speed Skating Championships in Moscow, Russia has seen Daniel Greig take out a top ten finish in the 500m distance, taking out 6th place. His coach Desly Hill advised that after racing on day 1, Josh was really suffering from a lack of energy after suffering the stomach illness for the previous 5 days. Last weekend saw Daniel Greig and Sophie Muir travel to Erfurt, Germany for the last regular world cup of the season. This world cup cosisted of the sprint events of the 500m and 1000m.
