Monday, April 27, 2009. Gratuitous Cute Rat Photo. How stinkin' cute am I? Day 106 to 115. Friday, April 17, 2009. Day 102 to 105. We have new babies! Two 5 week old fancy rats, Candy and Julie. This is on their second day, they were a little nervous and really enjoyed snuggling together in this cozy fleece tube. This is one of the babies scampering around on their first night in their new home. They were very excited to explore the huge cage. Day 93 to Day 101. Oh my poor neglected blog! Day 91 and 92.

Monday, March 30, 2009. Day 87 and 88. Day 88: Sunday, 3/29/09. A new game was born today: "Movie Stars". Day 87: Saturday, 3/28/09. LYX and MQ really wanted to go outside to scooter and ride bikes. We were hoping for a warmer day but they had fun anyway. March 30, 2009 at 9:18 PM. Love the pretty dresses and umbrellas! March 31, 2009 at 12:20 AM. Cadi wants to ride her bike so much, but we just keep getting more snow! We've got a least 3 feet that need to melt before we see any sidewalks or grass!

Saturday, June 20, 2009. Day 171: Happy Camper? We took Jon camping as part of his Father's Day gift. It IS a gift, since I'm not much of an outdoorsy girl. Too many bugs for my comfort! Saturday, January 31, 2009. Day 27, 28, 29 and 30. I am taking the photos, I just fall behind on posting! MQ was home sick yesterday so we had a day of projects. She made some beautiful window art. Ingredients for a super duper bean and sausage soup that we love. I'm a big fan of legumes! The recipe is here: http:/ www.recipezaar.com/Black-Bean-and-Smoked-Sausage-Soup-103361. I use a different mix of beans every time. The black eyed peas were a great addition this time! More snow and rain on the way!

Friday, February 27, 2009. Day 57: Thursday, 2/26/09. We love to decorate cookies anytime of year. We just get packaged sugar cookies in a roll and slice them off and have some fun. LYX suggested that we should have a tradition of decorating cookies for all holidays and season changes and several other events too. So pretty much anytime we wish from what I can tell. LYX and MQ created these self-portrait collages at their Mini-Mod Art class in the summer of 2007. I love the way they made these, so clever! March 31, 2009 at 2:58 PM. Thursday, April 2, 2009. Day 91 and 92. Day 92: Thursday, 4/2/09. Who says you can't play with your food! Just look at the dancing olive fingers of the fabulous performing MQ. Black olives and oatmeal for breakfast today. I like a kid who thinks outside the box. Day 91: Wednesday. 4/1/09. I have them in every conceivable size including the huge ones for storing quilts and blankets in for the summer. I'm sure my use of this much plastic is not particularly "green" but I can't help myself. Day 106 to 115.
