The kids watched all the sessions! We planted a garden. We fed the missionaries and they fed us spiritually. We met the Helm's and had a fabulous dinner! I wish we would have gotten a picture of the whole family! The kids played outside. I went to Women's Conference for the first time. Went to the "dollar" movies.

Wednesday, July 17, 2013. Coo coo for coconut. I love coconut flavoring. I have not blogged for 2-1/2 years! 1 teaspoon coconut extract. Put the sugar and water in a saucepan. Stir and bring to a boil. Boil for about 7 minutes until it is golden and add coconut extract. Turn off the heat and let the syrup cool. Store in a container in a refrigerator. Friday, June 25, 2010. Warm Weather Brings My Favorite Things. Fruit Trees ( I am excited to see some peaches growing on my trees). Early morning run outdoors. Playing outside at night. Parades, Festivals, Fireworks, Races. Here are some pictures of a morning run. I hope I will be ready for a 15K race next week. Saturday, December 4, 2010. This Thanksgiving was a cold one! I don't remember ever having so much snow and below 0 temperatures in November. Today it is 35 degrees, and it seems nice to me. I guess having it so cold has made me more grateful for 30-degree weather. I truly dread winter. We had Thanksving Dinner at our house with Phil's side of the family. We had 29 people in our kitchen/family room. We moved out the couches and put 5 tables in the room. The meal was so yummy! Lining up for the Feast.

Chocolate marshmallow frosting is delicious in between layers of triple chocolate cake. Spread the creamy smooth stuff on top and sides and sprinkle toffee bits over the top.
