Friday, October 24, 2008. I started watching the Gilmore Girls when it was in syndication and immediately enjoyed the characters. The scripts are phenomenally quick witted, humorous and filled with pop culture references. I often find myself watching the shows when I'm in need of ideas for bands to listen to, movies to watch or books to read. Wednesday, September 2, 2009. A walk in the woods. One of the fun finds was that the man made trails didn't just stop at the edge of the bluff. They actual went away from the edge, towards more trees and small fields of wildflowers. And the best part was having the bluff all to myself. Sunday, February 14, 2010. My brother loves math, especially prime numbers! This past January he turned 29. So I decided being that he is a prime number this year the perfect b-day gift would be a quilt design using only prime numbers. A few prime factoids about this quilt:. The quilt is 47" by 67". Thursday, December 10, 2009. I saw my Grandparents today for the first time in years.with my Grandpa around 20 years, and my Grandma around 10 years. My Aunt Faythe sent out a YouTube video she created of a Thanksgiving dinner from over 20 years ago. I'd say it's probably from either 1987 or 1988. I think at that point my parents were probably just giggling to themselves, with Carl in the background confused as to why a squirrel is upstairs and his parents were unconcerned, perhaps even a little happy? Wednesday, March 9, 2011. I realized today that I have neglected my blog for over a year. How sad. I think this is a pretty clear indication of why I am single! But good news, I am back, with a vengeance.wait, what? Scratch that, I'm just back and ready to write again. So what's been the haps this last year. Well.
