Good Singing Posture 101. Posted by Kris on Jan 31st, 2010 3 comments. Yes, I just did this to test this out again too – scary, no confidence, not good. Now head back to the mirror and get into good singing posture – tall, upright, head and neck in alignment, hands by your sides, plenty of room to breathe. Wow – what a difference! Posted by Kris on Nov 25th, 2009 6 comments. How can I sing with confidence? How can I NOT be sooooo nervous? How can I sing in front of a group of people and not feel like I’m going to pass out? Ok – well maybe you don’t feel like you ever ask that last one. :-). Do you look confident? Breathe low and use all your air! Use all your air then breathe or as my friend has renamed this the “Use It or Lose It” breathing method- I described this on the Basic Breathing blog post. Use your music or cheat sheet.
