Things I need to remember - Socialism's Orphan Child
http://borusa.livejournal.com/332034.html
Things I need to remember. Swimming makes me happy. I've been twice over the last two days, and I'm kind of buzzing. I can go any time I like! And there is a pace clock and the pool is a correct length. Posted on Sep. 2nd, 2014 at 11:33 am. Milwaukee Journal Sentinal Packers page. Dragon Tails - A comic about small dragons. Interesting new business direction... - Socialism's Orphan Child

Interesting new business direction. According to my webmail client, Prezzo are diversifying in a slightly surprising way. Posted on Apr. 2nd, 2015 at 01:49 pm. Tee-hee. As it happens, the newest and trendiest restaurant in Helsinki is called The Cock, and apparently the double entendre is intentional. Posted on Apr. 2nd, 2015 02:09 pm (UTC). Must be Easter ;-). Andy, Heather, Julie and Richard. Some first glimpses of Murton Park. Last weekend, the Strangehaven writing team headed over to Murton Park. To meet with the site manager and discuss the rules for using this very special site. Topics covered in the meeting will be posted here closer to the event dates, but in the meantime here are some pictures of the village itself to whet your appetites. We start off with a couple of shots of houses from the village square. And this is the long house. If I play a Have...

Andy, Heather, Julie and Richard. Havenite - Basic Costume. If you decide to play a native of Strangehaven rather than one of the many myriad character options available in Shards, this may help you to decide what to wear. A couple of samples are shown here, from the most basic such as a simple shirt paired with some stretchy leggings to fitted woolen hose, doublet and all the trimmings. Moments from WorldCon pt. 1 - Socialism's Orphan Child
http://borusa.livejournal.com/331103.html
Moments from WorldCon pt. 1. My question during the panel "Pew Pew! Where Have the Lasers Gone? Is there any way that the disappearance of lasers from Science Fiction could be a rejection of sanitized killing? To answer my own question: partly. If it is, then it's part of a wider movement, and the rationale behind it is more complicated. 1) It's interesting to contrast two novels in Gordon R. Dickson's "Childe" saga - Dorsai! PS Please don't tell me you don't like space opera or milSF in the comments?

Uncle Kenny - Socialism's Orphan Child
http://borusa.livejournal.com/332561.html
I was reading about Anne Sexton. Today Shes the subject of Peter Gabriels Mercy Street, based on her poem 45 Mercy Street. She committed suicide by, as the link says, downing a glass of vodka, going into the garage, closing all the doors, staring the car, and dying by carbon monoxide inhalation. Like most voyages through memory, this ends in dissatisfaction. Who was Uncle Kenny? Did he leave any trace in this world? The piece of land where the scout hut stood is still there, though the scout hut has clea...
