The Bott Blog: The Budding Artist
http://thebottblog.blogspot.com/2015/07/the-budding-artist.html
Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Tukker brought this masterpiece home from school a couple of months ago. I ooh'd and ahhh'd over it, then asked him to tell me about it. It's a guy pooping! He giggled. Loudly. And then giggled some more. And he showed this to his teacher. I've got a little Picasso on my hands. A gross, poop-painting Picasso. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Saturday, May 30, 2015. The Vasectomy Better Happen Fast. As I waited for the spasms to slow down, Rand barfed all over the couch, and it soaked the seat of my pants clear through to my underwear. Should I go change? Sadly, that answer didn't change even when he peed all over me a few minutes later. Trying to stay clean with a urinating barfer is a pointless endeavor. I really did try to muster the energy to at least go put some clean pajamas on, but it wasn't happening. I loathe those women. The Tukk gr...

The Bott Blog: The Tukk Turns 7!
http://thebottblog.blogspot.com/2015/07/the-tukk-turns-7.html
Sunday, July 12, 2015. The Tukk Turns 7! Tukker turned 7 yesterday! We celebrated at the Bott family reunion up at the BOG. The second the Munizes arrived Tukk came running into the trailer to announce that it was time for presents! He opened them from smallest to largest, and then we got his camouflage cake out and sang to the birthday boy. All that partying was pretty exhausting. He was definitely worth all the trouble, and for THIS kid, that's really saying something. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Monday, November 17, 2014. How to Eat a Lemon. Step 1: Bite down on a lemon wedge like a man. Step 2: Pull this face. Repeat 15 times and giggle every single time. Monday, November 10, 2014. When we told the boys we were going to have another baby, Caulder had some serious concerns. I don't know if this is such a good idea," he announced immediately. We asked him why, and he rattled off a list of worries. Will this baby be sick like Tukker was? How long will it be in the hospital? These boys. I love ...

Sunday, January 25, 2015. The Downside to Being Ginormous. I just hit the 30 week mark on Friday. This is amazing. Last week one of my coworkers said, "Wow, you're really getting big fast now." I should have been appropriately offended, but I was like, "You bet your sweet bippy I am. Because I am so flipping good at being pregnant! My boys have started playing the "belly table" game. They see who can balance the coolest thing on my gut. This requires me to sit down and not move. Best game ever. Later tha...

The Bott Blog: June 2015
http://thebottblog.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 28, 2015. A few weeks ago I got brave (and tired of being on house arrest) and took the kiddos to Pocatello for some cousin fun. First order of business: filling the brand new sandbox Uncle Kolby built for Klive's birthday. Poor Klive brought all his diggers out and had them waiting on the side of the box while we hauled the sand from the driveway to the backyard. It was torture. We also spent a day at Downatta, THE BEST SWIMMING POOL OF ALL TIME. What makes it so amazing? Once upon a time a...

Tukk made his rodeo debut this weekend as a world class mutton buster. He may not have made it all 8 seconds, but he got dirt in his mullet when he got bucked off, so when it comes to being a cowboy, as Tukk would say, he's "totawee megit.". Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Thursday, October 23, 2014. Smaller Than a Mustard Seed. You know how you sometimes read a scripture story or hear about a person from religious history and think to yourself, "How can they have had so many incredible experiences and still doubt? Like Laman and Lemuel, who experienced a lot of pretty amazing things and still doubted and tried to kill their dad and Nephi and were just generally gigantic jerk faces, and you're like, "Come on guys, you saw a FLIPPIN' ANGEL for crying out loud! And you think...

The Bott Blog: Cascade Springs
http://thebottblog.blogspot.com/2015/07/cascade-springs.html
Saturday, July 18, 2015. We took a trip to Cascade Springs a few weeks ago. We went there a lot when I was little, so I love going back. It's so pretty there. The boys thought the wooden bridges and log crossings were awesome. But it was sooooo hot the day we were there. We had to shield little man's large noggin from the sun. And take a cool-off break in the creek. The big boys thought wading in the freezing water and sticking their heads in it was hilarious. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
