Just a few days ago, two incredible people's lives were ended long before their time and certainly long before most of the world was ready to say goodbye to them. My husband's friend of 15 years from high school and college, Bram Dorresteijn, and his beautiful wife, Shari Khaja Dorresteijn, were in a fatal car accident. A woman I don’t even know and almost certainly will never meet, a veterinary colleague who is part of a Facebook group to which I belong, has had unspeakable tragedy. Six weeks ago she lost her mom.
