Exploring the Great Unknown – Together. August 12, 2015. Each site had a wonderfully unique firepit. The office building where we took shelter during the tornado warning. One of the empty sites. Very nice heated pool. I was particularly impressed by the employees on the afternoon we had a tornado warning. They went to every site to make sure that everyone came into the protected shelter of the office area and they kept us updated and urged us to stay in the shelter until all danger had passed. Exploring the Great Unknown – Together. August 5, 2015. We have hiked trails in several towns. Last Sunday we hiked up Mount Wachusett in Wachusett Mountain State Reservation. The view from the top. We hiked the Groton Town Forest. Hmmm – what does that sign mean? Groton Town Forest orest is a memorial to WW I soldiers. The trail markers – helpful but the same for all the trails! Kayaker on Dead River – source of mosquitoes? Pretty trail, but I took this picture moving quickly! Gate of the Dumaine estate.

Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Dear Clothing Industry,. I have an 11 year old daughter whom I love more than anything. She's tall for her age. She's over 5' 1", which I might add is taller than me. She is long waisted and the bulk of her weight lands squarely on her torso. This is not a build that you consider when making clothes. Not everyone is built like a ballerina. My baby is, well, starting to be a young lady. Why are all of the bras made in junior sizes PADDED? Just some feedback from a frustrated mama.

She was so hungry, that I was feeding her mints. K- and her cousin A- were dressed alike, as were their dolls. Aunt Kristin and Uncle Tom gave K- the matching outfit.
