As basecamp fills, so does our clinic, having treated 16 so far for maladies ranging from pneumonia and hypoxia to urinary and respiratory infections and the ubiquitous gastrointestinal disturbances. So here’ s the scene.we’re hanging out in our tea-house room waiting to hear about our flight out of Lukla with no clue when we would be able to fly out when there is a knock at the door and the lady from the tea house says we can leave NOW on the rescue heli if we hurry!
