Observations on Final Fantasy XII - Serpent's Eyrie
http://serpentgod.livejournal.com/4069.html
A Largely Private Blog for a Largely Private Person. Observations on Final Fantasy XII. Ready and rarin' to go! The Dresden Dolls - Missed Me. This is not a review; this is just stuff I wanted to comment on regarding the latest installment of Final Fantasy. There may or may not be spoilers in here, but I'll put it behind a cut regardless. Balthier stands out in sharp contrast to both Basch and Vaan. The obvious parallel is to cast him as a sort of Victorian Han Solo, which frankly isn't very fair to ...

cake madness!: scrumbling
http://scrumbling.livejournal.com/14386.html
I'm celebrating my 20th birthday on the 25th (tomorrow! And to get into the mood, i've been crocheting cupcakes and cake slices all week long! All the cakes are crocheted out of 100% acrylic yarn and stuffed with polyester fiber-fill. the cupcakes measure about 2" x 3", and the cake slices measure about 2" x 4". these were super fun to make! Lemon, chocolate&coffee, strawberry). Post a new comment. Anonymous comments are disabled in this journal. We will log you in after post. Post a new comment.

Crochet at Project Gutenberb: scrumbling
http://scrumbling.livejournal.com/13871.html
Crochet at Project Gutenberb. Scrumble in the style of Irish lace. Of BEETON'S BOOK OF NEEDLEWORK. I couldn't get it to jump to the crochet section using that link, but maybe it works for you. If not, try searching for "crochet instructions". They use UK terminology (i.e. US calls a single crochet a single; UK calls a single crochet a double). There are several interesting patterns, and it's a good read. Post a new comment. Anonymous comments are disabled in this journal. We will log you in after post.

hyperbolic planes and psuedospheres!: scrumbling
http://scrumbling.livejournal.com/15056.html
Hyperbolic planes and psuedospheres! Has anyone tried making one of the crocheted hyperbolic planes/pseudospheres. I started one today (kind of by accident), and having seen it before, looked it up to find out more about it. Tips, tricks, etc? I'm going to make a ton of them and experiment, just for my curiosity. (and besides, i might be able to make a neat mobile or three out of these things when i'm done). And since it's such a mathematic/scientific sort of thing, i'll go about this very scientifically:.

Some more scrumbles: These are unrelated to the others that I have…: scrumbling
http://scrumbling.livejournal.com/14149.html
These are unrelated to the others that I have posted. They are crocheted from that recycled silk kimono thread that is spun into yarn. I'm not sure what I'll do with them. I find it very interesting that the colors are so different from the 2 different skeins, almost like they are from 2 different dyelots. Post a new comment.
