UNSCHOOLERMOM: July 2013
http://unschoolermom.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Ancora Imparo - I am still learning. Thursday, July 25, 2013. Just some thoughts today about differences, unschooling, and God. In I Corinthians 6, Paul discusses the issue of lawsuits among believers. How often we read this and think, "This really does not apply to my church today." I used to think this as well. But now I wonder how many times we truly live out this concept. How often do Christians condemn a welfare recipient as lazy, and then expect that individual to "ask the church" for help. Upon th...

UNSCHOOLERMOM: July 2010
http://unschoolermom.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Ancora Imparo - I am still learning. Tuesday, July 27, 2010. For the past week, we have been working on creation science lapbooks and unit study from In the Hands of a Child. Taliesin and Nathanael have been having fun with them! I was surprised that Nathanael wrote the words in the last two pictures by himself ("No Fear" and "Do Not Be Afraid"). He was writing about the behemoth and leviathan. Saturday, July 24, 2010. Thursday, July 22, 2010. Sunday, July 18, 2010. It's amazing the things children will ...

UNSCHOOLERMOM: February 2012
http://unschoolermom.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Ancora Imparo - I am still learning. Friday, February 17, 2012. More on Ancient China. Lapbooks help Taliesin so much with his reading. He has an awesome comprehension, but he does struggle with the mechanics of reading. But reading what he has written and thought-out helps him so much. We are supposed to be getting our tax refund next week, so we will be picking out new lapbooking kits. Taliesin is excited! Wednesday, February 8, 2012. Looking forward to blogging more! UNSCHOOLERMOM: March 2010
http://unschoolermom.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Ancora Imparo - I am still learning. Sunday, March 28, 2010. Saturday, March 20, 2010. Compassion Week in Honor of St. Patrick. This year, we tied in the story of St. Patrick with our study of Biblical compassion. Taliesin and Nathanael had so much fun studying St. Patrick via books, a video, drama, and lapbooking. On St. Patrick's Day, we made Irish walking sticks, had an Irish lunch, and had our annual St. Patrick's Day parade! My own, personal leprechaun. A St Patrick's Day parade with friends. Random...

UNSCHOOLERMOM: June 2010
http://unschoolermom.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Ancora Imparo - I am still learning. Sunday, June 27, 2010. I am believing more and more that the way we rear our children can cause fears and phobias. I have never liked the term "free range children," because it sounds too cattle-like to me. But I am coming to understand that term more and more. So does that make me a believer in "free range children"? Labels: free range children. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). 6 activities If worried In a Bike injuries. Mary Lou’s Jewelry Box. UNSCHOOLERMOM: November 2009
http://unschoolermom.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Ancora Imparo - I am still learning. Monday, November 30, 2009. Thanksgiving this year was a wonderful time for all, but especially for Taliesin. He so much enjoyed conducting a seder. Here you will see the lapbook pictures - some of Taliesin's and some of Nathanael's - and a couple from Taliesin's seder, too. Monday, November 23, 2009. The Past Week or So. On Saturday, poor Nathanael had to get a staple in the top of his head. He and Taliesin were in the backyard, digging in their favorite pile of d...
