Parsley, Sage, and Rosemary Time. Mysteries, recipes, cooking tips, food facts, and more. Tuesday, June 9, 2015. Guest Post: "Slivers of Glass" by Janet Lynn and Will Zeilinger. Southern California 1955: the summer Disneyland opened, but even the happiest place on earth couldn't hide the smell of dirty cops, corruption and murder. How much of your characters/plot are drawn from your life? J-I think a lot of my plots and characters are drawn from people I know and things that happened to them and my family.

Parsley, Sage, and Rosemary Time. Mysteries, recipes, cooking tips, food facts, and more. Tuesday, March 31, 2015. 7 Ways To Deal with Positive and Negative Book Reviews: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. I was on a panel in mid-March at Left Coast Crime in Portland. We had the “dead zone”. That is the name conference organizers give to the last time slot of the conference. And there were four other sessions going on at the same time so we were one of five options. That said, I and many others don’t...

April 7, 2014. E is for Elizabeth. And also for Equal time Darcy got his own post for D, and Elizabeth deserves her own post for E :-)]. One of my favorite heroines of all time! Maybe she doesn’t kick ass like Katniss or solve mysteries like Harriet Vane, but she manages to push the boundaries of her narrow social sphere, with grace, style, and humour. Elizabeth is admirable, but not perfect. She’s too pert for Bingley’s fashionable sisters, she defies propriety by scampering about the country”...Because...

Lorna Collins - Author: July 2014

http://lornacollins-author.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html

Lorna Collins - Author. Monday, July 28, 2014. I had a long conversation with my daughter the other day about her new job. She’s working for the same company, but they recently transferred her group into a new area—with new responsibilities. And little or no training. The employees were given a checklist and told to follow it. However, the checklist continued to change—once three times in the same day. And they were provided no details about what had changed—or why. Even though I thoroughly trained each ...

A blog to support children orphaned by Ebola). Thunder rolls over Africa #atozchallenge. April 23, 2016. I can imagine that there are days and weeks when thunder storms roll over the country. Where do people go when lightning gets close? I was feet away from a lightning strike in Eastern Europe so I understand the danger of getting caught in the open. Isn’t it too hot for rain coats (which I don’t really wear.). I guess I’ll have to pack a few heavy-duty trash bags to stay dry. Jen Chandler was Here.
