Singing in the Summer | Melodies with Marilyn
https://melodieswithmarilyn.wordpress.com/2014/07/17/singing-in-the-summer
Musical Entertainment for All Ages. Singing in the Summer. July 17, 2014. It was so good to get back to singing for my seniors this week after three weeks of holidays. I had six bookings – three in one afternoon! I enjoyed each one very much, whether outside on a deck or in a cozy living room. There’s something about the summer that makes people a little more mellow, myself included! From the Silly to the Sublime →. One thought on “ Singing in the Summer. March 10, 2015 at 4:27 am. From the Silly to the Sublime | Melodies with Marilyn
https://melodieswithmarilyn.wordpress.com/2014/08/07/from-the-silly-to-the-sublime
Musical Entertainment for All Ages. From the Silly to the Sublime. August 7, 2014. Sometimes the transitions in a sing-along are rather crazy – from the silly to the sublime – like singing “Oh Dear, What Can the Matter Be? 8221; followed by “Danny Boy”. Then there are the times we go from the sublime to the ridiculous, like “It is Well With My Soul” to “I’ve Been Working on the Railroad”! Oh well, my seniors don’t seem to mind, and it keeps things interesting! They seem to like my original solos too.
