I am a researcher in optics, working at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. I am French —I always love a good baguette— but I grew up in the Caribean (Guadeloupe and Saint-Martin) and I received my Ph.D. in optics from Ecole Polytechnique. My current area of research is Extreme-Ultraviolet lithography (the art of making microchips even smaller), working in close collaboration with semi-conductor companies such as Intel, Samsung and formerly IBM. My research unit is the Center for X-Ray Optics.
