Thursday, June 27, 2013. Last week my bro had the opportunity to come down to visit for a week to do an engagement shoot and a few family shoots. Great for him and his business, great for my family, too! Bummer we didn't get to see Kristen this time around, hopefully the next trip - the kiddos miss there Auntie Kristen! Got to go to lunch just my mom, bro and myself - shared a pot of steamed clams, scallops and shrimp - deeeeeelish! Can you tell he's from Portland? Look how deep the whole is, mommy!

Wednesday, November 7, 2012. To really celebrate M's 5th Birthday in style, we decided to take him to Disneyland for his first time ever! Considering time and cost, we ended up choosing to go to one park on his first visit, and since he is all about Disney Pixar movies (Cars, Monster's Inc, Nemo and Bug's Life, to name a few), California Adventure it was! Wednesday, February 20, 2013. San Diego Zoo Photo Tour. Ok, not really a tour per se, but I had fun taking pics today, so there'll be a lot of them :). Tuesday, June 17, 2014. 2 and a half months ago (where have I been, I know), my brother and his wife, Kristen, welcomed their first baby into this world, a beautiful baby girl whom they named Brooklyn Grace! Tuesday, March 25, 2014. In February, my mom, Kaylie and I got to take a girl's trip to Portland to visit my brother, Greg, and his wife Kristen and celebrate Kristen's baby shower! It was Kaylie's first plane ride and first trip to Portland - as well as only my second trip to Portland! I'm so glad we were able to go, since immediately following our trip Greg and Kristen made the move down to Oceanside, to start their new family here close to family (among many other things)! It was spicy, but delicious!

Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Well The past 4 months have been.challenging/exciting/not-so-great/wonderful/prayerworthy/praiseworthy, all at the same time. A whirlwind, one in which the dust in finally settling. *takes deep breath*. I'm feeling particularly long-winded today. Shortly after I wrote the last post, after we closed on our new home, we took our daughter in for surgery on her spine. Lets take a step back. No diapers for this one! Wednesday, December 26, 2012. A Very Merry Christmas! What a blessed Christmas, indeed! The festivities began Christmas Eve day - first, with a steaming cup of hot chocolate in Christmas mugs :). Followed by some Christmas Pop making for our Helton/Tilton annual Christmas Eve get-together - these were fun to make, I was pretty pleased :). Dressed in their Christmas best, we headed to my parent's house for dinner, fun and games with the Tilton family :). Me and the kiddos! They were beyond excited :).
