Friday, January 9, 2009. I got this poem from my friend Julie, i hope she doesn't mind me sharing it. I thought it was so funny! Twas the Month After Christmas and I Ate Too Much. Twas the month after Christmas, and all through the house. Nothing would fit me, not even a blouse. The cookies I'd nibbled, the eggnog I'd taste. At the holiday parties had gone to my waist. Thursday, April 16, 2009. Sometimes I wonder where I am in all that is "my life". Feeding the baby, chasing after a BUSY four year old, trying to remember where my husband put his cell phone, walking the dog and cleaning up after everyone. It is daunting to think that I have barely had time to drink a hot cup of coffee. More importantly, I think of what I mean to the members in my family. That keeps me grounded and happy!
