Volunteering is the heart of a Community. Monday, April 14, 2008. Meeting Update. April 10 08. Minutes from April 10 2008 meeting. We had a very good meeting with 14 people attending. We went around the room with each person introducing themselves and describing their favorite volunteer activity. Among the topics discussed:. The chamber of commerce "Shawano Fly Out" uses lots of volunteers each year. Paul Seveska of the Shawano Leader. We went around the room again with each person stating their ideas.

Is looking for volunteers who wish to help us perserve and display the historical roots of Shawano County. Located on the channel between Shawano Lake and the Wolf River, Heritage Park houses the Historical Research Center, the Kast House, a log building, school house and other buildings which display examples of Shawano's history.
