Jim and Becky's Travels. We are finally driving West. Summary of 2014 Trip West. We arrived home on June 27, Becky’s Birthday. Since we left on May 22 that means we were traveling for 37 days. We traveled a total of 8067 miles through 23 states. We both now have visited 49 states. So only one left and Becky states she is not going drive to Hawaii. Jim and Becky's Travels. We are finally driving West. Massena, NY →. We expect this to be our last night on the road. Tomorrow we will have lunch with son Jim’s family in Clinton, NY and then head on to Massena. At the Johnstown site memorializing the catastrophic failure of an earthen dam that wiped out Johnstown in the late 1800’s. You can see the remains of the dam and understand where the lake shores were and grasp an understanding of the devastation. Today travels were 316 miles total 7745.
