It utilizes all the skills I learned as a bioinformatics major (turns out the stuff you learn in school actually is useful! The interview went well (even if I did get lost in the parking garage after it was over) so I'm hoping to hear back from them soon. Saturday, May 8, 2010. Here are a few things that I never knew were luxuries. until now:. Restaurants that don't charge you more to sit and eat, rather than just take away. Toilets that actually have. Having the right of way at a cross-walk. they will just barrel right on over ya! Eating more than bread and hot chocolate for breakfast. I love learning all these things first-hand. Quite interesting the things that are different between cultures. Why would you go to europe without me? I follow these peeps.

Ethan is all ready to fight a fire! His fire hat is from Firehouse Subs and has been stepped on a few times. I think it's time to head back for another one. This is interesting looking isolated thunderstorm off the the east of Lubbock. It didn't hit us but apparently had some big hail. It looks like a mushroom cloud!

He did great on the flights there and back! Ethan and Toby became instant best friends. Ethan loves to throw the ball and Toby loves to chase it! Ethan learned how to use a fork. Now he wants to at every meal. Having a tea party with Mimi! We went to the Folsom and Sacramento Zoos. Ethan loved seeing the animals.

Friday, July 30, 2010. We're on our way back to the Midwest. Today and Tomorrow we're in Sharidan, WY. We spent a lot of time in Idaho. As a matter of fact we spend more time there then any there state except California. I have some stories about the people in Idaho but I wont post them here.
