The last time Tony and I went, I loved the huge owl outside but was not super excited about the food or the prices. I heard from a fellow blogger. Recently that I should go again so last Saturday since Tony and I were in the area, we stopped by to get some dinner. I love love crepes and I just loved what I ordered! This is the Heartthrob. Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Dairy Queen Free Ice Cream! Do you ever go to free scoop night at Dairy Queen? It's something I can remember doing for a long time now! Tony and I first went to a DQ on Redwood Road. We were about to get in the drive through line when we saw a sign that said no free cones in the drive through. Bummer! We snagged a parking spot instead and stood in line for about 5 minutes to get our cones. I love this tradition! What's your favorite flavor of ice cream? SLC, UT, United States.

Sunday, May 3, 2015. Tony got us tickets for the Adventure Gear Expo which was a couple Saturdays ago and I was so so excited to go! We have never gone to this expo before so it was going to be fresh and new. Courtesy of Tony for this blurry pic. If only I had a GoPro! Oh well. I put on my helmet of bravery and gave this stand up paddle (SUP) boarding a try. I really wanted to but didnt want to fall into the water and look like a fool. Luckily that didnt happen. But then I felt comfortable and took off.

As a kid we celebrated on March 4th but now that I know about the real date of Pie day, it's been the 14th. Last year we hung out with our cool neighbors Alex and Amberly, ate pie we made/bought , watched a math movie and ate pizza from The Pie. Tuesday, March 24, 2015. Tony and I went to Rita's for a free Italian ice last Friday but the line was long and moving very slowly. Normally I dont care but we had a movie to get to downtown so we decided to step out of line (that was painful) and we walked over to a restaurant called The Habit to get something to eat for dinner. We both got hamburgers, mine was delicious. I got a meal and we shared the fries with plenty of fry sauce. I like that they have to-go containers for fry sauce/ketchup.

Friday, June 19, 2015. Last Saturday was so very busy but that's how I love my weekend to be usually. We drove down to Springville and 'camped' for the night so we wouldn't have to make the hour drive early the next morning. We signed up to volunteer at the Springville Balloon Fest. Which was an interesting experience. I see a pig that flies! Almost inflated and tons of balloons in the air around it! Where we stood from shortly after 6am until almost 9am.
