Hayes Harrison Koch, born February 8, 2013 at 12:31 pm. 7 lbs, 4 oz. We had a smooth delivery (repeat c section) this time! Rivers meets his baby brother. Love at first sight! Sweet, sweet boys. And just eight weeks later, we got a new nephew! Hayne Walker McMeekin, born April 3, 2013! Our boys have arrived! We helped Pa plant tomatoes.

Shay, laurie, rivers and hayes. Thursday, November 15, 2012. Ever wonder what goes on at 3 year old kindergarten? Thankfully Rivers' teachers are great at sharing photos with us. Here are some favorites of Rivers and his friends in the Bird Class :). In a circle for music time. Scissors are a new favorite tool, and girls with hair bows are fascinating too! Rivers tells me about all the girls who wear hair bows :) "Mama she got a bow on her head like Minnie". Circle of friends on the playground.

Tuesday, March 30, 2010. On a happier note, both the baby and I are doing great! He is measuring appropriately for his gestational age and he has a nice strong heart beat. The books say that he probably weighs about 2 1/2 lbs now. He is still moving around. A LOT! He is my little wiggle worm. I am still feeling good. It seems like I have more energy now then I did. The Young's Journey

Wednesday, March 6, 2013. Our September was busy with sports and school but the best day was Sep 27th! Titan is a Deacon! He was called last week to be the Deacons President. It's really a good thing for Titan. He is pretty shy and hates speaking n front of people. Now he gets to lead about 8 boys and stand up each week to conduct their meetings. I know this is preparing him for his mission! Titan got BYU hoodie, NFL game, survival bracelets, some Priesthood books, cash and BYU tickets for his birthday!

I was actually surprised my last recipe post was a hit, so I’ve decided to post more of my favorite family-friendly recipes! This is a healthy baked chicken recipe that I make pretty much every week. It’s super easy and we all (YES SEQUOYA TOO) love it! I’m actually not much of a chicken person… I like my red meat, but I LOVE this.
