Our last contact with the nurse was about 30 minutes ago, they will be removing the upper lobe of his left lung, he is still having bleeding issues and they are going to attempt to get him off the bypass machine when they complete the surgery. At this point, all we can do is ask for your continued prayers and support. I will report again later once we get word that they are completed, it is going to be a very long night. Monday, December 14, 2009. Just got a call from the nurse, they have just finished up with the bronchoscopy and have just made their first incision. They didn't have a lot to report except that so far Shay is tolorating everything pretty well so far. Keep the prayers coming and I will continue to post with updates. Thanks!
