Wednesday, April 14, 2010. With slight change of plans, we have come back to HCMC several hours early. This has given the students a chance to get one last shop at the local market. Saying that, it seems that some of the staff have run out of money. Overall, this has been a fantastic trip, quite an adventure to see the whole country, from close to the Chinese border, down to Mekong Delta, which borders with Cambodia. SHCS VIETNAM GROUP A1. Monday, April 12, 2010. HO CHI MINH CITY/SAIGON. A1 experienced a lovely dinner this evening. KFC! It was sliggghtly interesting and despite the screaming children enjoying a birthday party it was very nice. The popcorn chicken was different but was still as western as it gets in Vietnam. Although we are having a great time everyone is excited to get home. My suitcase weighs 26 with a limit of 20 SOOOOOO hopefully a few people would like to take some things home for me eeeek. Love ...

SHCS VIETNAM GROUP B1. Monday, April 19, 2010. Some photos of our mascot in the Bangkok airport. Wednesday, April 14, 2010. Yesterday, we went on a peaceful boat trip down the Mekong Delta. The Delta was lined with many houses and a church. On the way, we stopped at a candy/souvenir shop. It was amazing watching them make popcorn, which tasted really nice!
