So, this is how I made mine - roughly following the instructions on tv . Firstly, using 2 parts bonsai soil and 1 part compost mixed with water to make clay, mould into a ball, squeeze out excess water and then break in half. It was quite pliable and I could just about mould it into a ball but it didn't really look like theirs did.
