http://wahmramblings.blogspot.com/2008/03/and-blog-was-born-welcome.html
Tuesday, March 25, 2008. And a Blog was born - Welcome. Yet another blog in the wide wide blogosphere was born on a sunny day. It's name became WAHM Ramblings because its mom is a WAHM who rambles too much. OK you want to know who I am? A little about Mrs Fay;. No Mrs Fay is not my real name, but don't worry that doesn't make me less authentic. What you read on this blog is everyday life as I know it- no lies- no games- nothing hidden- only the truth. Except for my name that would be :). Here you can tak...

It's fun to build up the blog and I am having fun visiting all the participants from the Bloggy giveaways. I have yet to announce a winner and will try to do that tomorrow. Shame on me for not doing it earlier!

WAHM Ramblings: Appreciating what we have
http://wahmramblings.blogspot.com/2008/08/appreciating-what-we-have.html
Thursday, August 21, 2008. Appreciating what we have. It is difficult to appreciate what we have. Mostly we think about the things we do not. I am really trying to change that and instead of asking the Lord to give me more I ask that He show me how to appreciate what I do. Have It is not easy but I believe it is something we all should do. Many times what we have are so obvious to us that we don't even think about being grateful for it. When in reality we should be grateful for all things. Appreciating w...

The truth, despite your perceptions. My name is pronounced just like “Karen.” It’s not Carolyn. I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. I was a Navy brat. Of my blood-related sisters, I’m the only brunette. I have green eyes with yellow star bursts. I wear glasses when driving or watching movies. My wedding band is a size 4. I have teeny tiny hands. I am (mostly) vegetarian. I’m happily married. I’ve known Al since we were 16 years old. We met at the movie theater we both worked at. I have two children, both boys.

The truth, despite your perceptions. I’ll keep watching…. 10 years’ worth of these things, I guess. We’ll see how it goes.🙂. The New Birthday List! In case you’re new here, you should know… I don’t do New Year’s Resolutions. I make “birthday lists”… It’s a list of things I want to accomplish before my next birthday. So here you have it… 38 things I plan to accomplish before I turn 38. Establish ‘dates’ with the boys. Read a book at the same time as Al so we can talk about it. Host a family dinner. A hoc...

A survivor of childhood sexual abuse, this night child strives to become merged with her day child. You are Old, Father Raper. My parody of the poem. You are Old, Father William. Which is a parody of the poem. The Old Man’s Comforts and How He Gained Them. 8220;You are old,” father Raper, the young woman thought,. 8220;And your hair, while still full, shows your age;. You are slack, father Raper, and squalid and fraught,. Yet your void abates not my old rage.”. 8220;I was beat for about everything;.

The truth, despite your perceptions. Feeling not good enough. The children’s book which sparked a conversation about vegetarianism →. Fashion … or something like it. But I’ve always been afraid of wearing anything that was outside of my comfort zone, fashion-wise. I’ve never been any good at matching colors. And patterns? Could I tell you what color her shirt was? What kind of shoes she was wearing? 8221; Nope. Not a damn clue. Then I thought, “Can I tell you what my nanny wears? Feeling not good enough.

A survivor of childhood sexual abuse, this night child strives to become merged with her day child. 8221; by Lunea Weatherstone. Now that I’ve been basking in my “whatever” for the past year (that is, I’ve been letting myself do what is more natural and that means often I would rather NOT ACT on things), I’ve built up a bank of consequences that I will need to deal with at some point (or will I? I suppose I could continue to NOT act…). But guilt has been whispering to me. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
