Saturday, April 21, 2012. We went to a free soccer clinic at our neighborhood park and the UIC soccer team was there to coach the teams and run drills. It was fun! The Awana Grand Prix race at church was the highlight of the month. Daddy and I worked hard on my car and it was ready to race! My buddy Charlie - cheering me on. And I got a trophy! Saturday, January 12, 2013. Christmas in the U.P. - Part 1. We headed north for Christmas again this year and enjoyed every day of our two-week stay. There was actually a fair amount of snow, at least enough for sledding, skating, and snowshoeing so we were happy :-) It was a very Merry Christmas indeed! The Johnson family came over for our annual Christmas get-together and we started a new generational picture.the kids of the kids! Christmas Eve at Great-Grandma Glo's was wonderful!

Thursday, February 7, 2013. Koen and I became roommates last month to free up the nursery for our little sister. I helped Dad paint the wall in our bedroom and then put together our bunk beds. Friday, December 28, 2012. Baking, of course! We love to help Mom. Winter Wonderfest at Navy Pier was a blast as usual. Koen got to go on a lot more rides this year and I went on all the adult rides by myself since I am tall enough now. It was awesome! Mom really wanted to join me, but not with the baby in her belly. Next year! The boys skating - Koen's first time! My school Christmas program. We surprised everyone by stopping mid-song and turning to our partner for a dance! Saturday, December 15, 2012.
