If I had been writing on March 22nd I would have mentioned the one year anniversary of my fiance’s death after a brutal battle with lung cancer. So I feel like I’ve seen my share of death, of the intimate variety (my father’s death 3 years ago, I hope rounds out to the “3” of superstition). I recently read a book (graphic novel? Anniversary Mom. Nothing happy about it, but loads of love just the same.
