My inspiration for this collection starts with the thought of baroque architecture, that why I decided to add some acanthus. Details to some of the dresses. My second and most strong inspiration was the absence of couture that’s going on this season, since some of the most brilliant designers are not showing anymore. Friday, September 28, 2012. Felipe Solisce. Prêt-à-Porter. Spring Summer 2013. As the collections were approaching and with the intense screaming of a very minimalist era to come, I decided to do something with structure and with a story to tell. My Fabrics for this season are silk, tulle, chiffon, rafia and tweed in most of the looks. For this season I was very inspired in Birds of Paradise, and I built up a history were the Angels up in the heaven are the birds of paradise, and when they come down they transform into actual birds. Para esta colección estuve muy inspirado en Aves del Paraiso, e hice una historia en donde los Angeles del cielo son llamados “aves del paraíso” y cuando bajan a la tierra se transforman en estas magnificas aves.
