I finally decided that it was time for me to learn how to screen print. these two prints are new little experiments in progress. layering screen prints (silver ink! With an intaglio plate, drawing, and some photo transfers of appropriated imagery. the basis still follows the theme of my mother’s memories before and during her time of imprisonment in iran.

Another little sneak preview. February 9, 2012. So this was an accidental double exposure. I thought it looked pretty neat, but doesn’t fit in with the rest of the works for the show. This gives you a pretty good idea of what the space looks like, though…and what the photographs will look like too. But no more sneak previews! Come check out everything in its finality this June at my solo exhibition at Prairie Gallery in Northside! Until then, I have to come up with a title for the show…. Back to the top.
