Sunday, November 8, 2009. Trip to the Mall. Well today Sheila went to the mall. Don't get too excited, it was a real short trip! I have made two trips to the mall to get her new pajamas (you need a lot of pajamas after surgery) and she didn't like the latest pair. So today she went to the mall to find something she liked. We got a parking spot right in front of Dillard's. She walked in with her walker and found her new jammies. Her pain is at a "3" despite her busy afternoon. Trip to the Mall.

Friday, November 6, 2009. Took a car ride with her parents. Mom went to the hairdresser. They also ran a couple errands and ate out for lunch. Sheila is now starting to walk with a cane, but she still uses the walker a lot. It' s easier for her to get up and out of a chair with her walker to support her. This afternoon a basket of flowers arrive from my boss. For Sheila. It was so nice and Sheila was touched that Peter would be thinking of her. November 6, 2009 at 9:22 PM. Trip to the Mall.

Friday, November 27, 2009. We hope each of you had a peaceful Thanksgiving. We celebrated by eating out at Union Station Hotel. The restaurant. Had a sit-down dinner delivered to your table. Neither of us are big buffet fans, these days we call them H1N1 buffets, so this fit us to a tee! At the end of the meal they boxed up all your leftovers so we have at least one complete meal sitting in the fridge. The meal lasted three hours and by the end Sheila was pretty tired. Thanks for checking in, Cindy.

Sunday, November 15, 2009. Mom and Pop left on Saturday to return home. The minute we dropped them off we started to miss them! Sheila has enjoyed 2 weeks with her parents. They will be back on December 18th for another visit. Our plot got a little thick when our friend Cathy had to cancel her planned trip this weekend.
