In July 2014 the next stage of the vision was accomplished with the opening of the residential facilities. A place where the wounded warriers of Christ can come and seek the face of the Lord and find rest and renewal for their lives.'.

The story of Shekinah. How to find us. Shekinah nestles on the side of a hidden valley in the foothills of Pendle, in rural Lancashire. We are just 15 mins car journey from the M65 motorway, and the nearest train station is Nelson town centre. Visit the Forest of Bowland website by clicking here. To get to Shekinah set your Sat Nav to BB12 9LP, travel along Wellhead Road but do not turn off until you see the Shekinah sign. Take the 2nd turning left on to Noggarth Road. The story of Shekinah. The facilities at the Centre offer peaceful and comfortable spaces for both residential and day visitors. There are three rooms for day visitors - a conference room, the Sheepgate and the lounge; plus 10 ensuite bedrooms sleeping up to 21 people. The centre has a dining room and staffed kitchen (5-star rated) producing delicious home-cooked meals. Lectern, dvd player, cd player, projector, overhead projector, flipchart and wi-fi available on request. Ample car parking available.

Having completed the day facilities in 2010, the residential accommodation in 2014, installed the gasification boiler and finished the laundry room in 2015, we are now moving on to the next part of the buiding work, the 'Garden room'. For the 'Garden room' we need funds for the following:. We would also like to install renewable energy sources in the future. As a registered charity we are able to receive - and are enormously grateful for - any financial contributions and gift aid.
