Just Give Me Chocolate and Nobody gets Hurt: August 2012
http://justgivemechocolateandnobodygetshurt.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Just Give Me Chocolate and Nobody gets Hurt. Saturday, August 4, 2012. Strawberries, raspberries, saskatoons, blueberries. Buying them at the grocery store can be expensive. But I have one big advantage. I have my own strawberry plants in my garden and a small flower garden with half of it full of raspberry canes. Next year, I think I will also invest in a few blueberry and saskatoon bushes. This year, my strawberries simply decided not to produce, at least no more than a handful or two, berry-wise.

Just Give Me Chocolate and Nobody gets Hurt: October 2012

Just Give Me Chocolate and Nobody gets Hurt. Thursday, October 18, 2012. Adventures in Employment Land. The time had finally come. The time when I had to face the fact that my children are growing up. The fact that they did not need me home during the day because they simply were not home. They were at school. All day. Five days a week. And they both HAD been for a little over 2 years now. Why would you want to do THAT? I finally ended up at a career fair about a month ago. I wandered around, feeling...

Good News Grace Notes: October 2011

Good News Grace Notes. And the poor have good news proclaimed to them." Matthew 11:5. Friday, October 14, 2011. THE GOD WHO STOOPS. Religion, including what often passes for Christianity, is all about how we reach UP to GOD. Religion is predicated on the false notion that there is a GAP. And that doing religion right is how we bridge that GAP. The Gospel, by contrast, is radical, different, unique, one-of-a-kind. Only the Gospel tells of the GOD. To unite with us - not. To be, but where we are. If you ar...

Laquo; Bella Jane’s Peaceful Birth. Amara’s awesome Hypnobabies birth. Mom fires OB during birth when threatened with a cesarean! June 1, 2010 by enjoybirth. I LOVE this birth story, because it shows how moms can be so powerful during their births! Mom was induced at 42 weeks, but insisted that the pitocin was turned up slowly and refused to have her water broken. First off I have to thank all the wonderful women in this group. She called the Dr and it was agreed. So off we set. We had a cervical...After...

Doing my best not to worry, but to just let things flow…. August 15, 2012. In my first trimester of pregnancy, I was happily distracted from my early-pregnancy-sickness (aka. morning sickness, although mine was sort of all-day sickness) by the arrival of the PBS TV series “Downton Abbey” into my life. It provided me a welcome distraction from my general ickies, and helped me get through a trying time. Here’s hoping my new baby makes his appearance soon! Tagged: The Hunger Games. Down to the end. Enter yo...

Doing my best not to worry, but to just let things flow…. March 1, 2013. My new baby, who shall be known on this blog as “Little Man,” or LM for short, is six months old today. And it’s time for me to start writing about this marvelous baby – as well as other topics – on my trusty blog. It’s good to be back! Once in a blue moon however, he will nap longer. One of the most well-timed instances was on Valentine’s Day, when LM inexplicably napped for 3 hours! Wish I could be, part of your world…”. JJ and I ...

Doing my best not to worry, but to just let things flow…. September 4, 2012. If you have any ideas for how to get this extra fluid off of my hands, I would be happy to hear them. I’m not sure what to do. At least my baby is happy and healthy. :) He’s adorable, and we all love him to pieces. 🙂. The Little Man →. Emily, the Authorette. Red nail polish – a success story.
