Day 11: Fort William - Portree (Isle of Skye). And it only got better from there. The train ended in Mallaig, and I caught the ferry to Armadale, on the Isle of Skye. Then, grabbed the bus, which slowly made it’s way through this amazing island to Portree, a little harbour town on the middle of the east coast. DAY 34 - Dublin. One of my favourite things to do in Dublin is actually take the DART out of Dublin. I got up early, headed to Tara Station, grabbed a day pass and headed south on the train. The weather was beautiful, I was heading to the water, and after sitting on a bus and train the day before, I was ready to walk. First stop – Bray. Located about 20 km south of Dublin, in County Wicklow, this little seaside village has a mile long beach and promenade. A great way to start. DAY 33 - Dingle - Dublin.
