Quick-Fix Knitalong: On the bandwagon
http://quickfix-kal.blogspot.com/2007/04/on-bandwagon.html
Saturday, April 21, 2007. I joined the Jaywalker bandwagon. I can't believe I waited so long to do it! And look at this yarn! This is J. Knits #130. (No, sadly, it doesn't have a cool city/state name.) The green doesn't show up very well in this photo, but I think it's the predominant color. I am hoping to finish this one tomorrow. (btw, the second Rainy Day Sock is headed for the frog pond. Apparently I can't knit that pattern and yak at the same time.). April 22, 2007 at 6:30 AM. Oh, I LOVE it!

Quick-Fix Knitalong: April 2007
http://quickfix-kal.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 30, 2007. Only time will tell. I'm still hoping to finish my last "quick" project before midnight. We'll see, I guess! I'll do a roundup post tomorrow, wish me luck! In like a lion, out like a lamb. Originally uploaded by atomic rose. My last quick-fix project: knitted shoes for a customer who plans to decorate them like crazy. My other last-minute project didn't get done, thanks to my allergies, having to take Benadryl, and then spending the rest of the day asleep. (I just woke up! The lov...

Quick-Fix Knitalong: well, so much for that!
http://quickfix-kal.blogspot.com/2007/04/well-so-much-for-that.html
Saturday, April 28, 2007. Well, so much for that! The lovely pink Seduction Socks that were going to be a Mother's Day gift for my mom? Sorry, Amy - no socks this month! Not surprisingly, the 1915 bag isn't getting finished either. I really started out this month with a bang and then fell flat, now didn't I? Oh, don't feel badly! You're still way ahead of me in the FO front. Though I do hope to finish my next pair of socks before Monday. we'll see! April 28, 2007 at 2:39 PM. Quick Fix KAL Flickr Group!

Quick-Fix Knitalong: Truly quick
http://quickfix-kal.blogspot.com/2007/04/truly-quick.html
Saturday, April 21, 2007. As in, finished in about 4 days, although the picture-taking is dragging out considerably longer. :). A sweater for Jacob in Ultra Alpaca leftovers, using the guidelines in Ann Budd's Handy Book of Sweater Patterns. Love that book! I need a quick infusion of knitting mojo, and welcome ideas! Ultra Alpaca is so fabulous. I am eventually going to finish a pair of mittens with that stuff. Maybe by the time I actually need mittens again. April 21, 2007 at 5:31 PM. This is the end.

Quick-Fix Knitalong: Well, crap.
http://quickfix-kal.blogspot.com/2007/05/well-crap.html
Tuesday, May 1, 2007. I guess I missed it. Apparently, May is here already and I have so many stupid projects on the needles that could have been done quickly. See, what happened is my friend and I put ourselves on yarn diets. All of a sudden, nothing I am knitting is appetizing anymore. I just want to cast on something new or go buy new yarn. (Like I need to do either.). So, can we do this again so I can redeem myself? It was so cool to see everyone's stuff. It's so inspirational! May 1, 2007 at 10:38 AM.

Quick-Fix Knitalong: My quick fix is finished!
http://quickfix-kal.blogspot.com/2007/04/my-quick-fix-is-finished.html
Monday, April 16, 2007. My quick fix is finished! It wasn't so quick, but I really enjoyed working on this project. Pattern: Washbag from Sarah Dallas Knitting. Yarn: Rowan 4-ply cotton in shade 130 and 131 (I think, lost the ball band). That came out *gorgeous*! Beautiful knitting, and I love the colors. :). April 16, 2007 at 5:53 PM. I bought this book on Monday and I think this will be my first project! April 17, 2007 at 1:48 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Quick Fix KAL Flickr Group!
