Welcome & Plan
Welcome to my web site covering my modelling of the Shelley Railway Company, a "what if" narrow gauge version of Victorian Railways' broad gauge Wodonga-Cudgewa branchline which ran through the foothills of the Australian Alps. The diagram below shows an outline representation of the current layout which covers the section Shelley-Cudgewa. This is an operating layout, and all of the rollingstock you find on this site is in regular service, there being no dioramas or static display models here.

First series Ta Class, body scratchbuilt in styrene, wire and wood, on an Atlas GP-9 chassis. Second (or for the afficionados Third) series Ta class, body reduced from a Northern Models kit with styrene and wire detailing, on an Atlas GP-9 chassis. Third (or for the afficionados Fourth) series Ta class, body reduced from a Northern Models kit with styrene and wire detailing, on an Atlas GP 25 chassis.
