The perfect cure for the common cold, take 2 aspirins, drink plenty of liquids, get some rest, if that doesn't work after a few days, meet a couple of friends at the tap studio and dance you heart out for 1 1/2 hours, do this and your cold will disappear. mine just did! Our Heart and Sole group has performed in various venues, the PNE Exhibition in the summer where we did about 5 numbers, Chinese Days, also in the summer ( that was a hot one! Sunday, September 27, 2009. And so it began . Today . my first day of tap dancing lessons. After seeing Jayka, my partners daughter's tap recital, I became inspired to take lessons. I suppose I had a preconceived idea on how everything would go. When I was a kid, I was constantly pretending to tap dance, making clicking noises with my mouth to try and match my foot movements, it would be easy, just like that. hmmmmm. Easier said than done. Saturday, May 10, 2014. Gone, but hopefully not forgotten! This is a post for those who are still reading this. It has been quite some time since I have last posted,. Several things play into this, but the main thing, is I have not given up the passion for the dance. The studio I have been tapping is, which was like a family to me, has undergone some major changes,. One of them being, the director and my good friend Anna Kramer, is no longer there. Anna was the major. Personal interests, this is life.

Wednesday, January 19, 2011. Chinese New Year Show coming up! February 4th, Chinese New Year! Our group Heart and Sole have been asked to perform at Tinseltown in Chinatown, and have we got our work cut out for us! We will be performing a soft shoe number to Willy Nelson's "on the Sunny Side of the Street which I have been struggling with now for weeks, but its coming, and hopefully by then , the muscle memory will kick in. Tap is such a rollercoaster once you decide you want to stay on for the ride.
