A view from the woods. May 2, 2015. Every season has it’s qualities. Winter amazes with stark beauty. In the Spring, every day there’s something new. Birds are returning and becoming more active. There’s singing and chatter with the rising of the sun. These Black-Capped Chickadees were excavating a hole in this tree. They were kind enough to let me sit near and photograph their work.
