Random Musings about Industrial Archaeology in London, Britain and Europe as well as a little Genealogy. Tuesday, 31 March 2015. In My Liverpool Home - Part One. I've just got back from a weekend visit to my elder daughter in Liverpool, somewhere I now think of as my spiritual home. I got to thinking of why this was. When I was a teenager the Beatles were my heroes as well as the rest of the bands producing what is now the Mersey Sound. Then my daughter went to John Moores University and never came home!

Random Musings about Industrial Archaeology in London, Britain and Europe as well as a little Genealogy. Thursday, 7 May 2015. I didn't make much money but I enjoyed it. Then I went back to work and when the children were in their teens I completed only a few projects, crochet handbag, colourful cardies but little else ...

Loves socks, and most other knitted items. Thursday, March 29, 2012. Beginning of a Garden. Good gardeners probably keep a record of what seeds they planted and on what day. I am not a good gardener. But, look at what is growing! Sun Gold tomatoes are in the un-stick'ed pots. Sweet Cherry 100's are in the pot with the "100" stick. Basils are in the pot with the "B" stick. It was a Maggie Bonanomi Day! I have had this book for a couple of years. "Comfort Zone" by Maggie Bonanomi. I think I bought it here.

Sunday, November 30, 2008. Posted by Lindsay at 2:45 PM. Monday, November 24, 2008. My new favorite Massachusetts-ian whom I know from plurk! Not allowed to use more than one word for responses.I think it'll be kind of tough. Where is your mobile phone? Where is your significant other? Your dream last night? The room you’re in? Where do you want to be in 6 years? Where were you last night? One of your wish-list items? Where you grew up? The last thing you did? What are you wearing? I like to get mail.

http://hummingbirdknits.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 30, 2007. So of course I am realizing that starting a blog at the beginning of a semester filled with organic chemistry, biology, classical studies and creative writing (not to mention labs) was a pretty stupid idea. Posted by Lindsay at 5:04 PM. Friday, August 17, 2007. Let's start at the beginning. I'll at least describe the projects I'm currently working on. First and foremost, the pair of Cascade Fixation. Last up I have a pair of Knitty Dashing armwarmers. View my complete profile.

Sunday, October 28, 2007. This probably isn't the best thing to post about. But I need to write about it, so here goes. After I get this out, I promise a post about my wedding! My wedding was everything it should have been - a beautiful, wonderful event shared with my family, loved ones, and the most wonderful man in the world. But, instead of 6 of my closest friends standing beside me, there were only 4. In mid-May, I received a message from one of my bridesmaids. I spoke to both of them and told them t...
