Tuesday, 21 July 2015. What a great day! John W went off at 11am and flew 300km with a task from Edgehill to Upwood GC, then Didcot, Silverstone and home, bringing it back early enough for me to have a flight with a wander over to the West where the clouds were disappearing. It was a beautiful day to be in the air - vis was good, and the fields are getting better too! Steve Codd popped in with a 'landout' from the club class nationals, in which he is competing in a twin Acro. Now that takes cojones!

Sunday, 19 April 2015. Juniors Visit Day 2 - Saturday 18th April. Definitely an improvement on my normal breakfast! Juniors glider covered in postits! All calm at the winch - look at that sky! Not so quiet at the launchpoint! Lech and Sam did a magnificent job on Glidex at the launchpoint, though I think Lech appreciated a break on the winch late in the day! All was very calm up at the winch, with the biggest worry being whether we'd get the parachute over the fence with the stiff crosswind! Otherwise it...

Thursday, 2 July 2015. June 27th - Regionals Day 7. This day was predicted as a scrub, with about 4 fronts due overhead, so getting up late to a grey day I was shocked to be told to grid! After the meal the vast majority of the competitiors and organisers squashed into the clubhouse/bar for the famous Shenington Quiz, run by Paul and Lucy.
