Helper T cell technology and a particular site-specific epitope to target the amyloid-beta peptide. UB-311 has successfully completed clinical Phase I study, demonstrating safety and tolerability. UBI has two HIV vaccines in development. Our first product, UBI HIV-RC vaccine, is an investigational. Our second product, UBI HIV gp120, is an immunotherapy of HIV intended as a preventative vaccine for uninfected people and as an immunotherapeutic vaccine for infected people. Its primary active ingredient is an investigational. Immunogen induces an anti-HIV antibody response that blocks HIV from binding to the CD4 cell surface receptor, thereby inhibiting the initial step that leads to HIV infection.

UBI is headquartered in Hauppauge, NY with operational divisions in Taipei and Hsin-Chu, Taiwan and Shanghai and Beijing, China. UBI’s China operations are located in 168,000 SF in Shanghai’s premier ZhiZhu Science Park. The new UBI-China base includes facilities for the manufacture of API peptides, for manufacturing human and animal vaccines and diagnostics, and for R&D support activities. This facility was approved by the Ministry of Agriculture, PRC for GMP compliance in 2007.
