Alcatraz is just cool. If you ever get a chance, go. They give you an audio tour that is narrated by ex-guards and ex-prisoners that experienced the prison themseves. Its really well done. A Time To Laugh. May my meditation be pleasing to Him, for I rejoice in the Lord. Wednesday, July 9, 2014. Because of slow internet in SF and the redwoods, I'm two days behind in blogging. This is good and bad, as it's annoying that I'm not necessarily blogging about the things that are most vivid in my memory, but its also nice to remember. Driving across the city was also uneventful and actually very easy. It was early and no one was out. The bridge was cold and foggy of course. A few of my favorites.

Cape Meare's Lighthouse, our final viewpoint of the coast. At one point we were in a double lane on ramp and we came to a flashing red light and each lane would flash alternately. As readers of this blog have probably noticed, I haven't posted our adventures for the past couple of nights. Allen had a cousin who passed away and we are on the way back to be with family and attend the funeral on Saturday. Prayers are appreciated for the family. Monday, October 31, 2011. Pumpkin patch trip #2. Last Friday started a grand weekend! Lola is really starting to talk, learn more and well she is just growing up! I never thought she would talk or start wanting to "learn" so to speak, but I am starting to see a different path FINALLY! Her new thing right now is "roar" which means Beauty and the Beast! Thursday, November 17, 2011. So I don't forget. The Christmas season is approaching quickly! I am not really ready. Are you?
