Tuesday, November 8, 2011. And so it begins. After three and a half years of "Farming in the City" as Quarter Acre Farm, it's time to make the move to "greener pastures". Welcome to Shepherd's Moon Farm. Eggs of all colors, except the blue we had hoped for from our first Ameraucana. We've since gotten our blue and chocolate brown egg layers, and will be looking for a heritage breed for pastured meat birds, as well as expanding our layer flock further. And finally the sheep.
