Thursday, December 31, 2009. Christmas at the Beach. Our version of white Christmas this year was white sand not white snow! And you will notice it was enhanced with a beautiful blue sky! Tuesday, November 24, 2009. Home Sweet Home - under construction. This is more like "Home Humble Home". It didn't take them long to come up with a plan. Another one of the senior missionaries, Elder Hatch, has made it his "hobby-to-pass-away-spare-time" to help build some better houses for quite a few locals out in the more remote areas around Suva so the Stenlunds contacted him and he was on board in a flash! Sunday, July 25, 2010. We went to our FIRST Rugby game! Rugby is huge over here! This is the SAINTS Rugby team. It is composed of young men from various Wards and Branches of the Church around the Suva area. First and foremost, is to be able to visit with our dear friends that we have come to know and love but secondly, is because it is usually sunny and bright! Thankfully, the potential storm never did increase to the cyclone level! Though we did get to "enjoy" a tiny, little earthquake one afternoon while in Port Vila!
