If you're in SoCal, know that this is a great time to grow winter vegetables! What you say, you can grow veggies in winter? I have trouble with the brassica family though as they tend to get aphids. Sometimes it's sold with houseplants in garden centers. I cannot imagine being able to grow it indoors! Mine is such a little monster that you can't even see the pot! Aprille's SoCal Gardening ✿❀✾. Monday, May 16, 2016. In SoCal Feverfew can be an invasive weed. Tanacetum parthenium is a perennial herb that has been used as a fever reducer and headache remedy. It has single Daisy flowers and I have to pull it from many jobs. But this is a double flowered variety that I love! It doesn't reseed all over like the common variety.
