Although most of my time is spent standing and waving a stick, it is also with great pleasure that do this. I fished for another couple of hours and landed another 4 fish and lost 3. The other four was a combination of rainbows and cutt/bows. All were very healthy and big. I can't wait to get out next week. Dedicated to Our Son.

Our Site to Share Our Journey. Dedicated to our Son, Cooper. Thursday, September 10, 2009. Yes, there are many rivers right now with salmon and steelhead coming up stream. But to me the Yakima River is my home water. And the beautiful Yakima River Redband Rainbow Trout is my home fish. Recently, the Yakima River levels are starting to drop since it is no longer serving as the water supply to the farmlands in Eastern Washington. And the fish are eager to eat any big hoppers coming by. Scott and Kelly Kim.

Only way to describe the trip is - Epic. Fly-fishing in Montana is as getting close to Heaven as possible without flatlining. It was so beautiful that at times Scott had to check his pulse to make sure he was still alive. More fish than anyone can count - Very Healthy and Fat Rainbows, Cutthroats, Browns. This will be an annual trip for sure.
