Sunday, April 21, 2013. All year Maddie had planned on trying out for the volleyball team. She went to the camp this summer and had been eagerly waiting tryouts. When the week of tryouts came Maddie informed us that about 40 to 50 girls were planning on trying out but only 12 would make the team. She made the team and is so thrilled! Tuesday, February 19, 2013. Mama is off work so we decided to hit the zoo today! Erika came along with us and we had a blast. Best time to go to the zoo is when it first opens. Saturday, December 15, 2012. We went to a new place for our tree this year. Won't do it again but it was still a fun time. We ended up with a huge tree! It took forever to find because Maddie is very particular about her Christmas tree! She loved the one we found and said it is the best tree we have ever had. Saturday, June 30, 2012. So now Lily is 3 months old and because I am nursing I am avoiding dairy, soy, corn, egg, tree nuts, shell fish, peanuts, and red meat too because she seems to react to that. I have recently added wheat back into my diet and so far it is ok. Crossing my fingers! That about sums up the really short version of a journey with food allergies so far! Lily 3 Months Old. This post is a few weeks late but our Lily is 3 months old already! She is the smiliest baby! 2 new people holding her.

Friday, July 10, 2015. Happy 4th of July! We celebrated 4th of July and my Mom's 60th birthday with a weekend at the beach house. Mandy and Jon came for a couple days also but I didn't get any photos of them. We all surprised my Mom with a paddle board and as you can see by the pictures, it was a big hit! The weekend was super hot so we spent the majority of our time in the water or playing on the water. The water was really warm too so the kids were able to do lots of swimming.
