http://williamsworld-dette.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 25, 2015. We came, we saw, we conquered. Lucas with his favorite gift - Crown Royal from a friend. This is Christmas eve opening up after church services opening up just a few gifts. He wants to play Santa on Christmas Day, so he dressed himself in his Santa jammies so he could give out gifts. Santa brought some fabulous gifts. He sleeps with it every night. This enormous 3 ft cheetah in his bed. Hope didn't quite know quite what to make of this thing! Here he is with the Santa prints.

William's World: March 2014
http://williamsworld-dette.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 22, 2014. It was Dr. Suess Week at school! Crazy hair day. Fred actually woke up with his hair already making some small horns, so we went with it. Like that wasn't a nod from the beyond. Lorax Day - we provided our own mustache! In February we celebrated Molly, the neighbor dog's 1st birthday! So we were excited to share in her birthday - which Hannah insisted was half for William's benefit anyway. ;). Here is Molly receiving her special birthday cake! Sniff, sniff - yup, smells good.

William's World: June 2014
http://williamsworld-dette.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 21, 2014. Hope's 1st Birthday (belated). Finally, Miss Hope gets a little bit of space in William's World. We celebrated her 1st Birthday almost 2 months ago and I am just now getting around to posting photos. Ugh. I have decided that part of my problem is that when I am not working at the computer, I rarely get time to sit down and do fun stuff like this! So, please forgive my tardiness - but let's start the party! Birthday girl opening some presents. Miss Hope with her daddy. We had lots...

Sunday, June 14, 2015. Last Day of School. Can you believe it - the last day of school already? I, for one, think the year went by incredibly fast! I bet William would disagree though. He had a great first year and we can't wait for many more. First grade - look out - here he comes! This was part of the little presentation his teacher did for the last day. This was the habitat that William's class studied for his last section - the ocean! How fitting since we were off to the beach just a few weeks later.

Thursday, May 22, 2014. Here are some of the pics the school will share as part of his "graduation ceremony". And a couple of my own. We will share pics of the ceremony after our Memorial Day travels to Iowa. This was taken at the bench outside of school the spring after we started at Hope. He is about 3 in this picture. Here he is on the same bench, just a few weeks ago! Pirates - this is how we roll at the Longman house! A boy and "his" dog! Our two year halloween outfit! We love you, William! We are d...

William's World: Baseball
http://williamsworld-dette.blogspot.com/2015/07/baseball.html
Tuesday, July 7, 2015. William is playing baseball this summer. He has never been interested in it before, but was willing to give it a try this year so we jumped on it! He has done great! He can hit the ball well, catching is a little weak, but he is also a good runner. We will keep working with him, overall he is a great player for as little experience he has! Coach Jeremy helping him get set up to bat. And there it goes! Rainbow over Yankee Stadium. See, it was a beaut! And finally a video!

Sunday, June 14, 2015. Trying to get caught up on my blogging - as usual! William's 1st official field day was May 15th. It was a Friday so Lucas and I both got to go. Unfortunately, weather moved in so the events were cut short, but at least the kids got to do a few. Here are some highlights:. The start of the balloon toss. Crab walk - up and back. William talking to his friend Keller. Three legged race. These girls have got it down! Sack race - Go William, Go! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

William's World: October 2014

Saturday, October 25, 2014. Annual Visit to the Pumpkin Patch. At the beginning of the month we made our annual visit to the Rock Creek Farm or pumpkin patch. We had a great time picking out pumpkins, playing in the bounce houses and slides and seeing the animals. William was in charge of pumpkin selection. I do believe his entire focus was to find the biggest pumpkins in the field. Hope had a different idea of fun - terrorizing daddy! He couldn't hardly lift this one? And a bigger one still! I was so ne...

William's World: The Beach!
http://williamsworld-dette.blogspot.com/2015/07/the-beach.html
Sunday, July 5, 2015. We went to the beach! Grandma Mary Beth and Grandpa Larry treated everyone to a group vacation this year to Hilton Head in South Carolina. Very exciting for us as the kids have never had a chance to experience the beach! This was the beach just a few feet away from our condo - absolutely beautiful! We had lots of fun exploring especially in the mornings when lots of things will wash up. But, she warmed up and LOVED it. Grandma and the kids had lots of fun making lots of sand castles.

William's World: April 2015
http://williamsworld-dette.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 23, 2015. We did it - we survived spring break. I was worried that William would go a little stir crazy being at home for a full week, but we had enough activities planned that it was fine. Except mom was tired at the end of the week! First: The Children's Museum - Denver. Just William and I ventured to the children's museum downtown as I was worried they would be SUPER busy and Hope would get run over by the big kids. It was definitely busy, but not terrible. He made a whole tableau!
