Le SHERPA-TREK est livré en kit. Poids: 5,5 kgs. La charge maximale conseillée est de 18 kgs. (voir remarque). Le SHERPA-TREK est fabriqué en tôle d'acier peint et en tube d'aluminium anodisé. La boulonnerie est protégée contre l'oxydation,. La roue est montée sur roulements à billes, le bandage est plein (increvable). La fourche est montée sur des absorbeurs de chocs, en élastomère. Les poignées ergonomiques sont réglables en fonction de la taille du randonneur. Remarque pour le chargement:.

Le SHERPA-TREK s'utilise en poussant ou en tirant selon l'état du terrain. En position poussée, la charge est presque totalement sur la roue, la charge sur les bras est très faible. En position tirée, la position est un peu plus inclinée, la charge sur les bras est un peu plus grande. Il faut 2 à 3 heures pour s'habituer à sa conduite. Le col Valente (Queyras).

Un peu d'histoire,. J'ai commencé à réfléchir au problème du portage de sac dans les années 80 au cours d'une randonnée sur le GR 20. Bien que relativement jeune à cette époque (je suis né en 43) mes lombaires commençaient à être défaillantes. Il me reste surtout des mauvais souvenirs de cette rando, ce qui est dommage car le gr20 est magnifique. Dans le premier proto la roue était gonflable, ce qui faisait amortisseur, mais il fallait emmener le kit de réparation et la pompe. Je suis p...Et plus r&eacut...
