Sunday, January 29, 2012. A Smoothie A Day.part 7. Well everyone, this is the last day of our 7 part series, A Smoothie A Day. I've had a lot of fun searching my pantry, freezer and fridge trying to come up with some exciting new smoothie flavors. I think the coffee one was by far my favorite, but that Almond Joy Smoothie is a very close second. Put the Lime in the Coconut Smoothie. Because I kept singing that line as I was making it). 1/2 cup apple juice. 1/2 cup frozen mango. 1/2 cup frozen pineapple.

Monday, January 7, 2013. Gordon, our Elf on the Shelf. The day he came, Bailey, our 14 year old, checked the mailbox on his way home from the bus stop. (Ok, so I had the post office boxes hiding in the car and asked my teenager to pretend he checked the mail! The first morning we found Gordon drinking maple syrup straight out of the syrup bottle with a note from Santa telling the little boys to feel better soon (both of them were sick! Found Gordon in the kitchen making snow angels in the powdered sugar.

Two weeks ago I started a diet game with several of the women in my neighborhood. I've posted about my experience during this game on a different blog I keep.
